head of cultivation

Cheryl

Cheryl's inspiring journey in the cannabis industry began in her 20s when she discovered her passion for cultivation and trimming, overcoming barriers in an industry dominated by male growers. Working in the renowned cannabis regions of Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, Trinity counties in California, and Josephine County in Oregon, Cheryl honed her skills in large-scale organic greenhouse growing.

In 2013, she began her head grower journey in Mendocino, and by 2016 had property where she could cultivate cannabis on her own terms. In 2019, she relocated to New York, pursued a degree in Sustainable Farming and Food Systems, and co-founded Sterling Sunset Farm, a hemp farm in northern New York. With THC legalization, Cheryl's commitment and expertise has led Ithaca Organics to thrive in NYS Cannabis.

founder / ceo

Trever

Trever's journey began in a small town in Tompkins County, where his family farmed for the local community for generations. Feeling like the outlier, at 19, he saved up to travel to Amsterdam. There, Trever bought his first cannabis seeds, sparking a life time relationship with the plant.  Back home, he discreetly planted seeds in corn fields, starting years of underground cultivation.

Fueled by his passion for cannabis and the arts, Trever ventured into glass blowing, achieving collector-item status and collaborating with brands like Toro Glass. This artistic journey ran alongside Trever's establishment of Ithaca Organics, an organic food farm that began with a focus on growing local organic produce, then hemp and now cannabis.
